Join us for a membership working session to help us expand our social reach and spread the word about Keep BT Local.
KeepBTLocal Cooperative is excited to announce that we will be holding our annual meeting on June 14, 2014. The meeting will be held at the Edmunds Middle School Cafeteria (275 Main Street in Burlington) at 10:00 am. Doors will open at 9:00 am, and we will socialize until the formal meeting begins at 10:00, providing coffee and a light breakfast. The agenda will include a business meeting with a recap of the past year, nominations for directors and a couple addresses by telecom and cooperative folks.
As an enticement for folks, we ask that everyone planning on attending, please RSVP by emailing [email protected] as soon as possible. Every RSVP that we have received by each of the next four Fridays will be eligible for a weekly drawing for a telecom themed prize that will be presented at the annual meeting. So….the earlier you RSVP…the more chances you have to win!

We Submitted a Bid — What’s Next?
A Membership information meeting on June 22 at 7 PM (location to be announced).
The City’s next step is to narrow the field to between three and five finalists and to present their bids to the council sometime in July. Our bid places our community in the position of being in the driver’s seat to ensure we have long-term community equity in this enterprise. But all supporters are now needed to inform our representatives and our neighbors.
Come with your questions, and come prepared to volunteer to help us spread the word about our bid.
Please look at the Volunteer page on our website:
We’ll be looking for people to post lawn signs, host informational house parties, post to their Front Porch Forum, and attend BTAB and City Council meetings.
While you’re there, check all of the options that work for you, and please don’t hesitate to suggest others by contacting us via the Contact page:
You can also contact us directly at [email protected]
