You helped us at Edmunds, now we need you again . . .

Please join us for an important 90-minute update and hands-on decision-making session. Our three volunteer leaders — Ross Nizlek, Peter Jewett, Ralph Montefusco — and I met before Christmas to lay out some specific, deadline-based tasks that we need your assistance to make happen.

Before the Street Team can officially begin its blitz campaign to gather 1,000 commitments to join the Co-op, our Team must finish the new Website where folks can go to pledge their support. Pete has laid out its structure, and the in-progress graphic above will give you some idea of how the home page will be organized. The site is quite impressive, and we’d like you to see it.

A number of landing pages in the Website need your ideas, input, research, writing and other skills and time–there’s just too much for we four to do it all–and so we encourage you to come to the meeting, or contact me directly at 861-7364 if you’d like to hear more, or to RSVP. Leave a message and I’ll call you back.

One last thing: although Pete is focusing his attention on the Website, the rest of the Marketing Team is fleshing out other short-term strategies and tactical ideas to support the Street Team. So even if you don’t feel so empowered to help with the Website, Ross, Ralph and I would love to either see you at the meeting or hear from you.

Please join your fellow (39!) team-mates this coming Thursday night as we enter our Blitz Campaign to hit our goal of member Equity Share and Loan Pledges by February 14th.

The Website is up-and-running, Pledges are coming in, but we’ve not yet expanded our marketing reach as far as we plan to go.  Your ideas, your energy and your assistance is still needed, and so we really, really want to see you at 5:30pm next Thursday, January 3rd at City Hall, first floor Conference Room #12!

Refreshments will be served (it could be a party!)

We’ll be getting together on Tuesday evening to work on some marketing tasks for the week. Join us at 129 N. Champlain St for a couple hours of brainstorming and working, make sure you bring a laptop or tablet.
